A...My Name’s Amelia, is Joanne Sundell’s second published book, and no one is more surprised than she is!  Happy to bring yet another strong, western heroine to the printed-romance page, Joanne continues to search through Colorado archives, leaving no silver mine, dance hall, or mountain stone unturned, to breathe life into the adventuresome, exciting, brave women who helped settle the West. 

Her first novel, Matchmaker, Matchmaker, won the Land of Enchantment Romance Authors/Romance Writers of America, top prize for series historical in 2004.   A member of RWA, CRW, and WWW, Joanne admits she has lots to learn, and considers her involvement in these noted, writing groups an honor.

Joanne (her children grown and off on their own adventures) lives Rocky Mountain High with her husband, two cats, and two dogs.
